How Customers Order
Upload Photos
Users can upload JPEG, JPG, or PNG files directly from their phone, tablet, or computer (no account needed). If a file is too large or corrupted, they'll see an error message and can remove that image before proceeding.
Customize Prints
Customers choose from available print sizes, quantities, and optional cropping features. A real-time subtotal shows any applicable taxes or minimum-order requirements.
Complete Checkout
Payment is handled securely via credit card (and can include other options like Apple Pay/Google Pay). After agreeing to the Terms of Service, they finalize the order and receive a confirmation message.
How Your Lab Fulfills
Download Files
Each order appears in your back-end dashboard with a PDF invoice and ZIP of all uploaded images. You can download everything at once—perfectly organized and ready for printing.
Print & Track
Print orders using your in-house equipment, referencing the included details (sizes, quantities, customer info). The dashboard helps track production status, and you can label orders as needed.
Finalize Delivery
Mark orders as complete and optionally notify customers by email or text. Customers receive their prints according to your chosen delivery or pickup process.

Are there any monthly fees?
No monthly fees or subscriptions. You only pay 3.5% when you process an order. This includes all features, updates, and support.
What payment methods can my customers use?
Your customers can pay with all major credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or choose to pay in-store. Payment processing is handled securely through Stripe.

Can I customize the look of my store?

Can I use my own domain name?
Yes, you can use your own domain or get a free Lumen subdomain (yourlab.getlumen.ca).
Technical Details
What file types are supported?
We support JPEG, PNG, TIFF, and most other common image formats. Photos are sent to the lab in their original format, untouched.
How are files delivered to my lab?
You receive organized ZIP files containing both original and print-ready files, sorted by order. Files are automatically prepared according to your lab's specifications.
